PRIVACYPOLICY

Fight Coach is a boxing and kickboxing training app published by Alpha Command.
This policy explains local workouts, voice-command processing, backups, and privacy choices, plus the trial and purchase model for upcoming Android 5.2.13.

01 // YOUR WORKOUT INFORMATION

Information stored in the app

Fight Coach saves information on your device to run workouts, show progress, and adapt coaching. This includes:

  • Workout dates, boxing or kickboxing mode, session type, round lengths, completed and skipped rounds, training minutes, and results.
  • XP, levels, achievements, streaks, totals, and unlocks.
  • Daily and weekly challenge selections, progress, completion, rewards, and optional-round activity.
  • Round and rest times, selected moves, command style, sound volume, voice-command preferences, and microphone readiness.
  • Assessment results and coaching adjustments derived from your responses, including pace requests, preferred punches or kicks, and readiness. Small playback-history records help vary prerecorded coaching and sounds.

These records are stored locally. Fight Coach does not upload them to an Alpha Command server or provide an Alpha Command workout-sync service. Coaching adjustments run in the app, not in a cloud AI service. Challenge punch counts are based on the coach’s calls in completed rounds, not camera, wearable, or body-sensor measurements.

Release scope: the trial and purchase provisions on this page apply to the upcoming Android 5.2.13 release when available. They describe the intended access model and reviewed source configuration, not a claim that checkout, release testing, or rollout has been completed. Older installed versions can have different speech and access behavior, as explained below.

02 // VOICE COMMANDS

Microphone and speech processing

Fight Coach requests microphone permission for hands-free responses such as “Ready,” pace changes, and optional-round choices. You can decline permission or turn voice commands off and use the available tap controls. Opening the app alone does not make it a voice-memo recorder.

Listening sessions occur during the microphone test and supported response prompts, including assessments, rest and ready prompts, paused-workout ready prompts, and optional-round questions. A session can restart while a response prompt is active. The native activity cancels active listening when it is paused or closed.

Versions that use Android’s default speech-recognition provider: audio may be processed remotely by Google or another installed provider. On-device or offline-only processing is not guaranteed. The app supplies recognition settings such as language and its package identifier; recognized words and confidence results return for command handling. The provider may process audio, recognized speech, and related device or service information under its own terms. Alpha Command does not control its retention or account settings. See the Google Privacy Policy where Google provides the service.

Bundled recognition in the reviewed 5.2.13 source: this package uses a local Vosk speech model and native audio capture to interpret command audio in memory. That recognition path does not send audio to a speech server. Its final release configuration and device behavior still need confirmation before rollout. This is not a promise that every installed Fight Coach version always processes speech on-device.

Fight Coach does not save microphone audio as voice memos, retain a transcript archive, or send recognized speech to Alpha Command. The resulting command choices, counts, and coaching adjustments can remain in the local profile. For versions using a system speech provider, use that provider’s privacy controls for any information it retains. Avoid speaking sensitive information during a response prompt.

03 // BACKUPS AND FIGHT CARDS

When information can leave the app

Android backup: Fight Coach permits system backup. Depending on your device and settings, eligible workout information and preferences can be copied to Google’s device-backup service, a manufacturer’s service, or a replacement device. The provider controls these copies and restoration. This is separate from an Alpha Command cloud service.

In the reviewed source for upcoming 5.2.13, the separate native trial and purchase-access file is excluded from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Workout storage remains eligible. A workout backup is therefore not a substitute for restoring a purchase through Google Play. Final release behavior should be confirmed on supported devices; manufacturer or external backup tools can differ.

Fight Cards: saving or sharing creates a PNG of the workout results shown on the card. The Android flow saves images in Pictures/Fight Coach and, when you choose Share, opens Android’s share chooser. The selected app or recipient receives the image. A photo-backup service, such as Google Photos, may also copy that folder if enabled. These images are separate from private app storage and have no additional Fight Coach encryption layer.

Other providers: the upcoming purchase flow communicates with Google Play as described below. System speech processing, where used, is described in the microphone section. Opening an outside link sends ordinary browser-request information to that destination. Emailing Alpha Command sends us your email address, message, and any chosen attachments.

Alpha Command does not sell workout information or send it to advertisers or data brokers. Providers and destinations you select apply their own privacy policies, including the Google Privacy Policy for relevant Google services.

04 // INCLUDED SERVICES

Analytics, accounts, and providers

The reviewed Android source includes no advertising SDK, separate in-app analytics SDK, third-party crash-reporting SDK, or Alpha Command account system. It does not implement a developer-operated workout or purchase-verification backend. Coaching audio, sounds, artwork, and fonts are bundled with the app.

The upcoming 5.2.13 package includes Google Play Billing and supporting Google service and data-transport libraries. Google can process purchase information and technical information about billing operations, the app, and the device for service delivery, diagnostics, and security. This is separate from general Fight Coach behavioral analytics. The app’s local Vosk and JNA libraries support bundled speech recognition; that code path does not upload command audio.

Local device or WebView logs can contain technical errors. There is no separate Fight Coach crash-upload service to Alpha Command. Google Play, Android, WebView, the device manufacturer, and speech or backup providers may independently process platform diagnostics, updates, store activity, and service information under their own settings and policies. See the Google Privacy Policy for relevant Google processing.

These distinctions matter: local workout storage and the absence of an advertising or analytics SDK do not mean that no information ever leaves the device.

05 // UPCOMING ANDROID 5.2.13

Trial, purchases, and offline access

The following provisions apply to the upcoming Android 5.2.13 trial-to-purchase release when it becomes available. Its implementation, production configuration, and testing are not represented here as complete.

The planned model provides a 14-day trial, followed by an optional one-time purchase for permanent full access. There is no subscription, automatic renewal, or automatic charge at trial expiration. Google Play will display the local price and applicable taxes at checkout. No Alpha Command account or sign-in is required.

Google Play Billing handles checkout and payment processing. Alpha Command does not receive your full payment-card details. The app will process Google Play purchase information to verify ownership, acknowledge purchases, restore access, and maintain the appropriate access state.

The planned approach uses on-device verification and private local access storage, not a developer-operated verification server, cloud entitlement database, or device-fingerprinting service. In the reviewed source, the app keeps trial timing and clock checkpoints, access flags, and Google Play’s signed purchase record. That record can contain a product identifier, purchase time, purchase or acknowledgment state, and a transaction identifier called a purchase token. The signature helps check that the record is authentic; the token identifies a purchase and is not a payment-card number or an anonymous identifier.

Purchasing, restoring, and refreshing ownership require an Internet connection and the appropriate Google Play account. The app is designed to refresh ownership on returning to the app or requesting restoration. Once ownership is verified, its cached record supports offline access. It cannot reliably detect a later refund or revocation while permanently offline; a successful later Google Play check can update the saved access state.

Trial expiration is not a request to delete workout history. The planned access gate limits starting new training after expiration while retaining existing progress. Google Play retains its transaction and account records under its own terms and the Google Privacy Policy. These Android provisions do not describe an iOS payment implementation.

06 // YOUR CONTROLS

Permissions, reset, and deletion

Permissions: microphone access supports voice commands; vibration provides haptic feedback; Internet and network-state access support online services, including Google Play communication in the upcoming release. The upcoming package declares Google Play Billing permission for purchases and restoration. Wake-lock permission supports keeping the device awake during app activity. These permissions do not grant access to contacts, location, camera images, or other apps’ private files. The reviewed 5.2.13 manifest does not request notification permission.

Voice controls: switch off hands-free commands in Fight Coach Settings. To revoke microphone access, open Android Settings → Apps → Fight Coach → Permissions → Microphone. Names vary by device. Revoking permission does not erase information already handled by a system speech provider.

Reset training data: “RESET ALL LOCAL DATA” resets the main training profile, including XP, history, settings, move preferences, and the assessment checkpoint. It does not remove every auxiliary playback-history record or an exported image. In the reviewed 5.2.13 source, this reset does not clear the separate native trial or purchase-access file. It is not a purchase cancellation or a way to request a fresh trial.

Clear storage or uninstall: Android Settings → Apps → Fight Coach → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data removes private local app records, including cached access information. Uninstalling normally removes them too. Clearing cache alone does not reset the profile. Neither clearing storage nor uninstalling cancels a Google Play purchase or erases Google Play’s purchase history; purchased access must be restored through Google Play when needed.

Separate copies: delete Fight Cards from Pictures/Fight Coach and any photo backups or sharing destinations separately. Manage system backups through Android and the backup provider; an eligible retained workout backup can restore local training data after reinstalling. Use the speech provider’s controls for information it has retained. Fight Coach does not remotely erase those independent copies.

Email seth@alphacmd.io for privacy questions or deletion requests concerning information held by Alpha Command, such as support correspondence. This is an email request process, not an automatic deletion feature. We may need limited information to locate and verify a request. We cannot remotely erase your local workouts or independently held Google Play, speech, backup, or sharing records.

07 // HOW LONG DATA REMAINS

Data retention

Local preferences, coaching profiles, aggregate progress, and challenge information remain between sessions until you reset or clear the relevant data. The reviewed source keeps up to 60 recent workout-history records. Showing only a few records initially does not mean the others have been deleted. Standalone Fight Timer sessions are not stored as workout history.

Recognition results are used to interpret commands rather than retained as a transcript archive. Command-derived preferences and progress can remain. Saved Fight Cards persist until removed from their destination. System backups and any system speech-provider records follow that provider’s retention practices.

In the upcoming access model, local trial and cached purchase records remain as needed to determine access, until replaced or removed with private app storage. A successful Google Play ownership check can change the cached purchase state. Trial expiration does not erase workout history. Google controls the retention of its purchase, account, and service records, which are not deleted by uninstalling the app.

Alpha Command retains privacy and support correspondence as needed to answer the request, handle follow-up, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. We review deletion requests by email and may retain limited records for those purposes.

08 // PROTECTING INFORMATION

Security

Fight Coach relies on Android’s private app storage and operating-system protections. It does not add a separate password or app-specific encryption layer to workout storage. Use a device screen lock and keep Android and relevant providers updated.

The app disables cleartext network traffic in its own app context. The upcoming purchase verification uses signed Google Play records to check authenticity; a signature is not encryption of all app data. Google and any separate speech or backup provider control their service protections. A saved Fight Card is outside private app storage. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

09 // CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Children’s privacy

Fight Coach does not request a date of birth, verify age, or create children’s accounts. If a child uses the app, the same local-storage, microphone, provider, sharing, and applicable purchase practices described here apply. A parent or guardian can manage microphone permission, Google Play purchase controls, local records, shared images, and device backups.

Alpha Command does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through privacy or support correspondence. If you believe a child has sent us information, email seth@alphacmd.io so we can review and remove information in our possession as appropriate. Contact the relevant provider separately for information it holds.

10 // THIS PUBLIC PAGE

Visiting this website

This policy page is public and requires no login. The Alpha Command website uses Netlify hosting and page-performance monitoring and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Those providers receive ordinary web-request information, such as an IP address and browser information; monitoring also receives page-loading measurements.

These website services are separate from the Android app and do not receive its local workout history simply because you read this page. See Netlify’s Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy for their practices.

11 // POLICY UPDATES

Changes to this policy

This policy is effective October 21, 2026. It describes Fight Coach’s Android data handling and separately identifies the purchase provisions for the upcoming Android 5.2.13 release. Publication of this policy does not announce that release or certify that its purchasing and offline-access tests are complete.

We will publish revisions at this address and update the effective date when practices change. We will confirm the final speech, access, reset, and backup behavior before rollout and update the policy and applicable Google Play disclosures as needed. Material changes will receive additional notice or permission requests where required.
