PRIVACYPOLICY

Little Light is a Bible reading app published by Alpha Command.
This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

01 // LOCAL APP DATA

Information you create in the app

Little Light lets you save reading progress, reading goals, bookmarks, highlight colors, bookmark notes, bookmark folders, display preferences, and related app settings.

This information is stored locally in the app's on-device storage. Little Light does not provide a Little Light account or an Alpha Command cloud-sync service for this information, and the app does not intentionally send your saved reading data, bookmarks, highlights, or notes to Alpha Command.

Little Light also includes a backup feature. When you choose to export a backup, the app creates a JSON backup file containing the saved Little Light data on your device. You choose where that file is stored or shared. When you import a backup, the file is read locally to restore compatible Little Light data.

02 // DIAGNOSTICS

Information collected automatically

The Little Light application code reviewed for this policy does not include its own advertising system, user-account system, cloud-sync service, or in-app analytics integration.

Little Light may write technical warnings to the device or browser console when an app function encounters an error—for example, if local storage or backup validation fails. These diagnostic messages are used for local troubleshooting and are not intentionally transmitted to Alpha Command by the Little Light app code.

Your Android device, Google Play, browser or WebView, device manufacturer, and any outside service you choose to open may independently process technical information under their own privacy terms. Those platform-level practices are separate from the Little Light app's saved reading data.

03 // THIRD PARTIES

Sharing

Little Light does not sell your app data. The app does not intentionally share your saved reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, notes, or preferences with advertisers or data brokers.

Information leaves the app only when you choose an action that does so—for example, exporting a backup file, copying or sharing text through your device, or opening an outside website. The destination service or app may then handle that information according to its own privacy practices.

04 // RETENTION

Storage and deletion

Little Light keeps app-created data on the device so that your reading progress and preferences remain available between sessions. Data stays there until you remove or replace it, reset applicable data in the app, clear Little Light's app storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app.

A backup file that you exported is separate from the app and remains wherever you chose to save it until you delete that file yourself.

Android or Google device-backup features may retain or restore some app data depending on your device and system settings. Alpha Command does not operate a Little Light cloud account or server that stores your Little Light reading data.

06 // POLICY VERSIONING

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Little Light, its Android packaging, its included services, or its data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will show the latest update.

If a future release adds analytics, crash reporting, advertising, cloud sync, accounts, or another third-party SDK that changes how information is handled, this policy will be updated to describe that service and its purpose.
